20250826 21572200 1.0 TRUE CMECS_Biotic This layer is a polygon file containing an updated and refined version of the CMECS Biotic Component layer for the Coos estuary. The CMECS Biotic Component is a hierarchical classification that identifies (a) the composition of floating and suspended biota and (b) the biological composition of coastal and marine benthos. The original CMECS Biotic Component layer was funded by NOAA via a CZMA section 309 "Project of Special Merit" grant. The update/refinemement of the CMECS Biotic Component layer for the Coos estuary was funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts.
