Description: This layer is a polygon file containing CMECS Geoform Component classes for Oregon Estuaries. The Geoform Component describes the major geomorphic and structural characteristics of the coast and seafloor. This component is divided into four subcomponents that describe tectonic and physiographic settings and two levels of geoform elements (based upon the scale of the features) that include geological, biogenic, and anthropogenic geoform features. Representative units include lagoon, ledge, tidal channel/creek, and moraine.
