Description: Marine resources contribute significantly to the shoreside economy of Oregon and its coastal communities. To better understand this relationship, information was collected on ten shoreside infrastructure types, broadly defined as the shoreside businesses and facilities that directly and indirectly support ocean uses, such as such as ports. These ports help support ocean uses and coastal communities by providing facilities for large ships and commercial fishing boats. This dataset was created using existing data and utilizing new data collection efforts and includes a comprehensive list of ports along the coast of Oregon along with their contact information.
